“Sullivan and LGBS Put Heat on Bread Company”
A Houston bread company learned this week that Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan and LGBS take collecting dough seriously. Sullivan, along with an attorney and collections manager from LGBS, showed up personally at the Slow Dough Bread Company to collect the more than $13,000 in back taxes owed by the company.
“We give every taxpayer the opportunity to get their taxes paid on time. We offer support, reminders and payment plans,” Sullivan said in a press release. “After we exhaust our resources, we have to get tough. I’m going to recover every dollar possible, to protect the integrity of the tax rolls.”
LGBS was proud to facilitate Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Mike Sullivan’s collection by obtaining a tax warrant from the court and coordinating with Harris County Constable May Walker to serve the warrant.
