We Take Our Job Seriously

Some understandably surprised people spoke to El Paso television station KVIA after hearing from Linebarger’s El Paso-based sister firm, Delgado Acosta Spencer Linebarger and Perez. They’re surprised because the firm has been hired to collect on some long-outstanding fines and fees that El Paso’s Chief Financial Officer speculated the city’s previous collections firm, “may have given up trying to collect.”

As Managing Partner Carmen Perez told reporter Darren Hunt, the City gave the law firm very clear direction. “They requested for us to mail on every outstanding fine or citation that was out there and that’s what we did,” Perez said. See the complete report here.
