Julie Parsons has been a practicing attorney in Texas for more than three decades, spending her career specializing in bankruptcy and debt collection. She is a bankruptcy partner in Linebarger’s Austin office.

She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish with highest honors, and received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law in 1994. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year.

Mrs. Parsons worked as an associate attorney for James Herring & Associates until 2001, before serving as a staff attorney with the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee of the Western District of Texas, Waco Division. Mrs. Parsons was a managing attorney at McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen, PC, where she managed her own staff and handled bankruptcy dockets in all four Texas federal districts.
