A Texas native, Mark Harris joined Linebarger in 2008. Mr. Harris currently serves as a Capital Partner in the firm’s Dallas office and served as Managing Partner for the firm’s Philadelphia office from 2018 through 2026. Mr. Harris also manages contracts for other delinquent fines and fees clients and serves on the firm’s National Marketing Committee, pursuing new business opportunities.

Mr. Harris is a 2015 graduate Fellow of the Leadership DISD program, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing leaders and agents of change in the Dallas, Texas area, impacting the Dallas Independent School District’s educational programs. He has also been a conference speaker and panelist, discussing issues affecting clients in the area of taxation and collections. He continues to build upon his practice in the collections industry. Mr. Harris also was a long-time volunteer for the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program in Dallas, Texas. He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Prior to joining Linebarger, Mr. Harris practiced law and advised clients in various areas of specialization, including labor and employment discrimination, family and juvenile law, breach of contract, intellectual property, and corporate and consumer collections matters.

Before pursuing his legal education, Mr. Harris served as a paralegal for several years in various firms and organizations in the private and public sectors in the cities of Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta.

A graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, Mr. Harris is admitted to practice law in Texas, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
