Employee Highlight- Nita Bauer
Juanita Bauer, or as most know her, Nita Bauer, joined the Linebarger family in 2001 as a Software Quality Assurance representative. She now serves as the Deputy Director of the ITG Delinquent Tax (DTax) Division.

She plays an essential part in Linebarger’s delinquent tax collection operations, guiding the software engineering teams in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications. She also assists in training related to the implementation of new software releases. Additionally, she oversees the production team on issues related to client data and mailings.
Before joining Linebarger, Nita served in the United States Air Force from 1979 to 2000. In her last five years in the Air Force, she participated in the redesign the Military Personnel Data System at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio.
She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Business Management in 1998. She went on to earn her Master of Arts in both Management and Computer, Resources & Information Management in 2013 from Webster University.

In 2013, Nita received Linebarger’s Outstanding Achievement Award – Information Technology Professional. Nita is also an accomplished author of Awchewa: Awakening to Swan Medicine, and contributed articles for No More Procrastination! Get into Action, Achieve Your Goals!, and I Hate to Be Late: Great Strategies to Help you be on Time.
She is frequently involved in her community, having served as a Secretary for the American Veterans for Equal Rights, Lone Star Chapter; Secretary, San Antonio Writer’s Guild; and Community Leader, Landmark Worldwide, San Antonio Programs. She is also the founder & Program Facilitator for Life by Design-San Antonio.
