Houston Office Donates Toys to Children in Need

Houston office staff attended the Women Professionals in Government (WPG) December meeting.

In celebration of the holidays, WPG partnered with BE a Resource for CPS Kids (BEAR) to collect donated gifts from members, which will help bring joy to more than 10,000 children in need. All gifts donated will go to children living under the care of Child Protective Services. Houston staff attending the event donated an unwrapped, safe toy.

In addition to donating toys, Linebarger Houston office staff also enjoyed listening to WPG’s guest speaker, Emery F. Nauden, Jr., ICE Community Relations Officer (CRO). As CRO, Nauden facilitates dialogue between elected officials, Consulate Officers, community leaders, and other federal agencies. He also provides an informational briefing to the public about ICE. He is a veteran of the 82nd Airborne and, before working with ICE, was a Community Planning Liaison with the Department of Defense.

Attending this event from the Houston office were: Derick Mendoza, Deanna Longo, A’Shunte Cashaw, Tracy Jones, Xzavier Waller, Sylvania Paul, and Michelle Lugo. If you would like to learn how to support BEAR this holiday season, click here.
