Houston Partner Attends Event Supporting Houston Volunteer Lawyers

On Monday, Nov. 11, Houston, Texas Partner Derick Mendoza attended the 70th Annual Harvest Celebration hosted by the Houston Bar Foundation, the Houston Bar Association (HBA), and the Houston Bar Association Auxiliary.

Mendoza wore his HBA Ambassador pin along with an American Flag Pin during the celebration in honor of his fellow Veterans on Veterans Day.

All proceeds from the event, which took place at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, directly benefit Houston Volunteer Lawyers. Founded in 1981 by the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Volunteer Lawyers work to provide legal services to low-income people in Harris County and to promote volunteerism among lawyers.

Every year Houston Volunteer Lawyers provide free legal advice to more than 6,000 people and attorneys collectively donate $4 million of their time. Learn more about Houston Volunteer Lawyers here.
