Linebarger Managing Partner Becomes United Way of Tarrant County Board Member
The United Way of Tarrant County recently welcomed Fort Worth Interim Managing Partner Barbara Williams, as a new Board member.
“We are proud to welcome our new board members who bring with them a diverse set of leadership skills and backgrounds,” said James Powell, Chair, United Way of Tarrant County Board Directors.
Ms. Williams is an active member of her community. She served on the 2019 United Way of Tarrant County Women United Steering Committee and on the Board of Directors for SafeHaven of Tarrant County. She is a past Chair of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, Fort Worth SPARC, and Women’s Policy Forum, Fort Worth. She is also a former President of Arlington South Rotary.
Since 1922 the United Way of Tarrant County has worked to improve Tarrant County. As a local non-profit, they work to bring together individuals, groups, donors, and service providers to coordinate aid to those most in need of assistance. Through its resources, the United Way of Tarrant County helps more than 300,000 people annually.
