Linebarger Supports Hispanic Students with MASBA Webinar
Linebarger sponsored the Mexican American School Board Association’s (MASBA) webinar that focused on the gaps in education for Hispanic students that COVID has highlighted. The webinar, which took place on February 8, is part of MASBA’s 10-week webinar series covering different topics concerning Hispanic students. Each webinar is sponsored individually.
The webinar featured a panel of members from the Texas Association of Latino Administrators & Superintendents (TALAS). TALAS President Dr. Ricardo Lopez of Garland ISD moderated the conversation.
Linebarger Capital Partner Ronald Rocha kicked off the webinar with a short introduction. He closed the event with a short trivia game to encourage participation. After a quick round of questions, prizes were awarded to two participants, Tornillo ISD Trustee Marlene Bullard and Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD Trustee Sam Lujan.
MASBA will hold weekly seminars on Mondays through the end of March. To register for upcoming webinars, click here.
