NALEO Virtual Conference
A first for many of Linebarger’s attorneys and staff was their “attendance” at the 37th Annual National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Conference from August 5-6. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference was held virtually for the first time.
Dallas Managing Partner Bridget Lopez, El Paso Managing Partner Carmen Perez, and Edinburg Managing Partner Lucy Canales, along with the CMS Conference Team, worked behind the scenes to design and build Linebarger’s virtual booth.
“This Virtual Conference has given me renewed hope for our future,” wrote Arturo Vargas, NALEO Chief Executive Officer, on the organization’s website. “When the COVID-19 pandemic began to unfold, so much of everyday life was complicated by unprecedented challenges and uncertainty.”
NALEO boasts more than 6,000 Latino elected and Latino appointed officials as members in the United States.
