Partner Educates About City Revitalization Project

Philadelphia Managing Partner Mark Harris spoke in December about Linebarger’s involvement with The North Broad Renaissance Project at the Annual State of North Broad in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

“Linebarger is invested in helping our communities grow. It is an honor to partner with The North Broad Renaissance Project and work with them to improve the great City of Philadelphia,” Harris said when providing comments as to why Linebarger’s partnership with North Broad is important to the Philadelphia office.

The North Broad Renaissance Project is a non-profit organization whose primary role is to provide communication and information to city administrators, council members, and others who do business along the North Broad street corridor, one of Philadelphia’s most prominent streets running north and south from each side of City Hall for approximately 13 miles. The organization also pursues projects that will help attract visitors and citizens to Broad Street to encourage business development and economic growth.

Linebarger entered into a partnership with the North Broad Renaissance Project in 2019 through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). This program encourages local businesses to invest in projects to improve distressed areas by allowing for-profit businesses to partner with non- profit businesses to receive funding. Under this program, the business taxes that Linebarger would normally remit to the City goes to North Broad Renaissance Project for the support of its initiatives.

Philadelphia staff routinely volunteer their time with the North Broad Renaissance Project for various projects. If you would like to learn more about how you can volunteer, click here.
