Fue elegida presidenta del Partido Dem\u00f3crata del Condado de Hidalgo de 2012 a 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de unirse a Linebarger, Salazar fue abogada aut\u00f3noma, centr\u00e1ndose en las \u00e1reas de derecho penal, de familia y lesiones personales. Tambi\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 como abogada asociada para los bufetes de abogados Godwin Pappas Langley &amp; Ronquillo, LLP y Touchstone Bernays Johnston Beall Smith &amp; Stollenwerck en Dallas, Texas, donde ejerci\u00f3 en litigios civiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salazar es licenciada en Historia y Sociolog\u00eda por la Universidad de Notre Dame, Indiana, donde fue incluida en la Lista de Honor del Decano.
