DISD State of the District

On April 28, 2021, the Dallas Education Foundation hosted the Dallas ISD 2021 State of the District event to showcase the talents and hard work of their students, teachers, and administration. The Linebarger Dallas office is proud to have partnered with the District once again as the presenting sponsor. Our partnership with DISD spans over 40 years. During this time, we have invested in the students of Dallas ISD and they have contributed to the growth and success of our law firm. Our firm has employed over 140 student interns since 1981. This year, Dallas ISD helped us highlight several of our former interns, Pedro Cuevas, who attends Texas A&M Commerce, Tatiana Rivers, who attends Texas Tech University, and our current Post Judgment Manager, Liliana Gonzalez, who started as a DISD student intern in 1996. Our Dallas Managing Partner, Bridget Moreno Lopez also made remarks, highlighting why a partnership is important to a strong workforce and to establish equity among our future leaders. “We encourage all of you to join us in investing in the students of Dallas ISD by supporting the foundation in any way you can through your time, resources, internships, scholarship, and connections. Your investment will make a difference in the lives of our children,” said Lopez.
