Truth-in-Taxation Webinar

Linebarger’s Director of Truth-in-Taxation (TNT) Blair Riley and Marketing Representative Dennis Hart hosted a webinar about the laws and procedures surrounding setting 2020 tax rates. This webinar was hosted over Zoom on June 3 for clients and law firm personnel. A second webinar was held on June 11.

Participants may receive two continuing education hours through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation or the Tax Assessor-Collectors Association of Texas for participating in the webinar.

More than 200 individuals joined the virtual webinar on June 3. Participants learned about new laws and procedures affecting 2020 tax rates and how the COVID-19 disaster declaration may have an effect.
