Linebarger’s wholly owned subsidiary, Appraisal & Collection Technologies (“ACT”), has a clearly demonstrated history of success in developing, installing, and supporting user-friendly property tax collection systems.  ACT offers complete current and delinquent property tax system functionality, from records maintenance and billing, to processing payments, interfacing with property appraisers and management reporting.

We use Software as a Service (“SaaS”), as our software delivery model, to reduce both the implementation time and capital investment necessary to transition from an existing tax office system to ACT.

As an Application Service Provider (“ASP”), we connect the personal computers already on a client’s network to our secure data center. There is no need to install servers and associated environmental and security hardware at your location.  As a backup to our primary facility, we maintain a fully-redundant disaster recovery site.

ACT is the only tax system provider in Texas that we are aware of to routinely complete a Type 2 SSAE-16 (SOC 1) examination by an external accounting firm. For more details on our tax office features and services click ACT .
