Cristian L. Salinas

Cristian L. Salinas is an associate attorney with Linebarger based out of the Corpus Christi, Texas office. He focuses on providing legal services and support to the firm’s clients while assisting with a variety of matters related to litigation and collections. Mr. Salinas joined the firm in 2026 and brings experience in business operations, client relations, and social media management.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Salinas founded and continues to operate Cristian’s Vintage, a successful clothing business based in Mission, Texas. Through strategic use of social media platforms and networking, he built a nationwide customer base with more than 6,000 followers and over 1,000 sales across the country. His entrepreneurial experience includes overseeing daily business operations, customer engagement, and brand development.

Mr. Salinas also previously served as a social media manager for Lombardo Custom Apparel in Dallas, Texas, where he managed posting schedules across multiple platforms and organized customer outreach efforts through email marketing and analytics. Earlier in his career, he worked with the Law Office of Marla Cuellar in Edinburg, Texas, assisting with case preparation, client file management, and courthouse operations, as well as with S&F Developer in Mission, Texas, where he managed client records and administrative operations.

Mr. Salinas earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, and attended the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and is an active member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and the National Honor Society.

Stephen Jones

Stephen E. Jones, JD/MBA is an Associate Attorney at Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP based in the Dallas, Texas office. He supports the firm’s government clients in the collection of delinquent property tax receivables.

With more than two decades of legal experience, Mr. Jones brings deep expertise in employment law, labor relations, administrative law, and complex civil litigation. Prior to rejoining Linebarger, he served as an Attorney in the U.S. Postal Service’s Employment Law Central Unit, providing legal advice to executive management and local postal officials across an 11-state region. In that role, he advised on employment and labor matters, collaborated with senior HR and labor leadership on reasonable accommodation and risk-avoidance initiatives, and supported compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures and the Employee & Labor Relations Manual.

Mr. Jones has litigated significant federal court matters, including Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions, and has experience as a court-appointed ad litem in Dallas County tax courts, as well as in eDiscovery and complex document review. Earlier in his career, he held multiple litigation and leadership roles at Linebarger and served as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.

Mr. Jones served as an Adjunct Faculty member at UNT Dallas College of Law, teaching Remedies to upper-level law students. Mr. Jones holds a Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law), a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Southern University. He is admitted to practice in the State of Texas, the U.S. Supreme Court, multiple federal appellate courts, the U.S. Tax Court, and U.S. District Courts in Texas.
