Linebarger Supports Youth Program

In February 2024, Linebarger partnered with First Tee to empower youth in Austin, Texas.

First Tee is a national organization that integrates the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, building inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that young people can apply to everything they do.

Linebarger employees worked on a beautification project at Harvey Penick Golf Campus, a nine-hole PGA-Tour designed golf course that is owned and operated by First Tee, Greater Austin. The Austin chapter of First Tee has operated since 1999, impacting more than 50,000 children and teens in Central Texas through year-round programs.

“We’re so lucky to partner with a quality program like First Tee – Greater Austin,” says Paul D. Chapa, Managing Partner of Linebarger’s Austin office. “Their program gives so many kids the skills and confidence to follow their dreams. It’s an honor to be part of their mission.”

One of the organization’s goals is to build a learning center for the growing number of players participating in First Tee in Austin. Linebarger is proud to support this organization making an impact in our community.
