Scott Wert is an experienced litigator and veteran trial lawyer with more than 75 trials as lead counsel. After graduating from Texas Tech University Law School in 1995, where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence, Mr. Wert immediately went to work for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas as an Assistant District Attorney.

Before joining Linebarger, Mr. Wert represented thousands of victims of asbestos exposure, other injury victims, and numerous businesses, churches, and individuals in civil and commercial litigation. Mr. Wert is a certified life member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Less than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.
